This scrub paste is very hard to work in AND even harder to rinse but lathers VERY well. The biggest con is how much it tangled my hair at my roots. I find it to have a very strong rose floral scent especially once your hair has dried. The first use I noted that I definitely had volume after blow drying with my hair flipped upside down. The second use I didn’t blow dry. My hair had great volume again but my hair was unmanageable and frizzy. I never have frizzy hair so I knew it had to be the product. I also want to add that I had to start using the matching conditioner to my roots (Instead of Mid-strand only down) combing out the tangles left from using the paste which really messed with the volume the paste gives. I have not been able to achieve the volume I did the first use since. I have noticed that a few reviews say the fragrance is light. I on the other hand found the rose floral fragrance overwhelmingly strong. Overall be cautious while shampooing to try to not tangle your hair at the roots. I received this product complimentary through Christophe Robin and Influenster and have enjoyed trying the set.

I see the volume!

I do for sure thing this product performs! I have naturally pin straight hair and it did give it some va-voom! I love the rose scent but I think others would find it overwhelming! My scalp did not feel stripped of moisture in any way but I do think it would have been extremely tangled if I did not follow up with the conditioner!

Roses and Volume!!!!

If you DO NOT like the smell of roses I’ll save you some time. Move on this is NOT for you. The only reason I gave it 4 starts was for the smell and the color . I like the smell of roses but I don’t love it so sometimes it can be a little much. However, it is a natural smell like fresh cut roses. This scrub has natural clay in it which I LOVE!!! For fine hair just a tip part hair apply to scalp and once scrubbed all over let it set in your hair for around 2 minutes this allows the clay to really absorb all that oil and any impurities on scalp. Think of those clay masks you put on your face. I used this a few times and it really did give a lot more volume then I get from any other product I have washed my hair with. I’m really pleasantly surprised. The scrub isn’t too rough and feels great. I love as you add water it start to foam up and washes out. The color con I referred to in the beginning is because of the clay it does wash out kinda brown. I don’t believe it would stain your hair cause my hair is already dark. I also don’t have white or light colored towels so I have no idea what it would do to them if you don’t rinse all the way.

Great for Volumizing your hair!!

So I got this product free to try from a site and I wanted to give it a little time before posting my review about it. When I first got it I was very skeptical about the shampoo being a clay substance because I have used hair products that have a clay like substance before and they didn’t foam well at all. However, I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I started using this product because the shampoo foamed SO easily. It only took about 30 seconds maybe even less after putting it in my wet hair and kind of massaging it into my scalp for it to start foaming. I definitely used way too much product in the beginning because I had no idea how well it was going to foam, so if you’re using this for the first time, just know it will foam very very well and you don’t need a lot. I followed the instructions by waiting 2 minutes and massaging the shampoo into my scalp and roots (this is where it tells you to focus). It washes out extremely well and left my hair feeling pretty soft each time. I think the smell of the shampoo is great, its not too overpowering; it smells very fresh and like roses (I would compare it to the Mario Bedadici rose water with aloe facial spray). As for volume, I think this in combination with the conditioner did a great job adding more volume to my hair when I would blow it out, which is what it is marketed to do. I actually felt my hair was a bit thicker too and after blowing it out my straight hair looked a lot more volunmous and shiny compared to when I wasn’t using these products. I know this shampoo is a little expensive but I think for what it does, its worth it for sure. You also don’t need to use both the shampoo and conditioner everyday, you can use it 3 times a week and still get that same volume, softness and shine when you blow out your hair (I tried this as well). I would recommend this along with the conditioner because it really does what it is marketed to do.

Clean feeling great volume

I will definitely be using this shampoo from now on. It gave me some volume and this is really hard to do because my hair is so heavy it’s always weighed down. It is really interesting to use because it’s thick and a little course which made me feel like I was getting extra clean because my hair tends to be oily. It gave my hair a great glow and to top it of it smells SO GOOD and the smell actually stayed with my hair!   (I got this product complementary)

This is a killer product. My scalp instantly felt like it could breather after using this. It smells fresh and natural and feels great on your scalp. Plus, it truly gives your hair volume and body. Love it!

I received complimentary @influenster Christophe Robin volumizing paste shampoo and volume conditioner. It’s one of a few hair products I’ve tried that lives up to the hype.  Pros: ⭐️ IT ACTUALLY VOLUMIZES! I have very long, very heavy hair and it is the best product I have ever used for volume, hands down. It lasts for 2+ days and nothing EVER lasts with my heavy hair. ⭐️The paste is super cool. I like the texture and it is exfoliating. It turns soapy and sudsy after a while. ⭐️It doesn’t dry my hair out. ⭐️ It doesn’t leave a residue, even without heat styling  ⭐️ It works even better styled, but it works even letting my hair dry which is super, super surprising. Cons: ⭐️ The smell is strong and is an acquired taste.

Interesting product

This is an interesting product. I’ve never used anything like this. It’s a paste but kind of granular like a sugar scrub but once you rub it into your hair it turns into a regular sudsy shampoo. I’ve used this a couple of times and while I think it’s good I don’t notice any volumizing effects (I have fine hair with tape extensions). I will say it has a very strong rose scent so if you aren’t into that I would try something else! I do like how clean my hair feels after! I received this product complimentary for product review
